Göra en höna av en fjäder
That's Swedish for "To make a chicken out of a feather". We’re all familiar with the idea of making a mountain out of a molehill, but the logic surrounding the idea of making a chicken out of nothing but feathers contains several immediate flaws. But it’s a ticklish idea.
What does this have to do with the Seasoned Saints? The Seasoned Saints (those 50+) gather together in the Grace Room after the Worship Service to share home cooked (or bought) dishes. The next lunch will be on Sunday, January 5th at 12:30pm. This time they are having a Swedish Theme. Come out for a fun time of fellowship and learn more about the Swedish. There is no need to register.
If you can, please bring a meat, casserole, side dish or dessert. Warming drawers are available in the kitchen to keep the food warm or you can bring a crock pot and plug it in. We have serving utensils but if you bring any, please mark them and your dishes with your name. Drinks (iced tea & water) will be provided.
